Professional Veterinary Dispensing Service

The Board has developed a Checklist to assist the profession when supplying/prescribing medications to clients.  The Checklist is titled 'Professional Veterinary Dispensing Service', and was first presented at the Rural Vets Meeting in 2008.  Following comments from the wider profession, it was distributed to all practising vets in July 2008.

These documents will give more information about the principles on which the Checklist is based, including bona-fide clients; therapeutic need; under the vet's care; follow up; client understands instructions etc
